Nicolás Correa A-16 fixed-bed CNC milling machine

The Nicolás Correa A-16 fixed-bed CNC milling machine is a high-capacity machining machine designed for milling large-scale parts with sustained precision. It includes a recently installed Heidenhain TNC 320 numerical control, guaranteeing modern and intuitive management of the axes and compatibility with advanced machining cycles.

The worktable measures 2,000 x 630 mm, has six 18 mm T-slots and supports a maximum load of 3,000 kg, enabling secure clamping of large-volume and heavy parts. The axis travels reach 1,800 mm in X, 800 mm in Y and 800 mm in Z, providing a wide work area for complex operations in a single setup.

The milling head is of manual universal type with hydraulic tool clamping and ISO 50 spindle nose. The main spindle covers a speed range from 20 to 3,250 rpm with continuous variation and two mechanical ranges, powered by a 16 kW motor. The feed rates during operation range from 5 to 5,000 mm/min, with a rapid traverse of 8,000 mm/min to optimize positioning times between passes.

The machine incorporates external cooling, electronic handwheel, preparation for a fourth axis and a shared fourth axis of Ø400 mm, which expands machining possibilities without the need for significant additional investment. It has CE marking.
