Vertical machining center SIGMA Mission SMV-1050

The SIGMA SMV-1050 is a vertical CNC machining center from the Mission series, available in stock at Vallcal in a fully specified precision configuration. The machine is delivered with a HEIDENHAIN TNC 650 19" control, HEIDENHAIN linear scales on all three axes, and 30 bar coolant through spindle (CTS) with integrated filtration — a specification level clearly above the standard series build.

The direct-drive spindle (DDS) operates at 15,000 rpm with ISO 40 (DIN 69871) taper and 10/17 kW power (S1/S6). A standard spindle oil cooler minimizes thermal expansion and maintains positioning accuracy over extended production cycles. Linear travels are 1,050 mm on X, 560 mm on Y, and 635 mm on Z, with a 1,150×560 mm table supporting a maximum load of 800 kg. Rapid traverse rates are 48 m/min on X and Y, and 36 m/min on Z.

The swing arm ATC manages 30 tools with a maximum diameter of Ø75 mm, maximum length of 300 mm, and maximum weight of 8 kg per tool. Roller-type linear guides on all three axes and pre-tensioned ballscrews provide rigidity and repeatability at high speeds.

Standard equipment includes full enclosure, dual chip removal (front and rear) with chip cart, oil-water separator, rigid tapping, top cover, and air-conditioned electrical cabinet.
