Vertical machining centers EQUIPTOP Series VMC CNC new

The EQUIPTOP Hitech Corp. VMC series groups 3-axis CNC vertical machining centers with box guideways in the three axes, with X travels from 850 to 1,360 mm. The high-quality Meehanite cast iron construction —column, base, table and saddle— provides the structural rigidity needed to maintain dimensional accuracy during heavy roughing passes.

The column and the bed have been analyzed using finite elements to optimize mass distribution and minimize deformation under load. The table and the carriage feature full support along their entire travel, which ensures dynamic stability during machining and reduces the influence of cutting forces on the surface finish.

The spindle reaches 8,000 rpm in standard configuration, optionally expandable to 10,000 or 12,000 rpm. The installed power is 11 kW in models with up to 1,100 mm of X-axis travel, and 15 kW (Mitsubishi) or 18.5 kW (Fanuc) in the VMC-1300 and VMC-1360S models. The tool holder standardized for the entire series is BT40. The standard ATC is arm-less type with 16 positions in the smaller models and 20 positions in the larger ones; the arm-type option increases capacity to 24 tools in all models.

The VMC-1360S incorporates a mixed configuration of guides: Linear Way on the X and Y axes, and Box Way on the Z axis, a combination that balances positioning speed and rigidity in depth. The available control is Mitsubishi M70/M80 or Fanuc Oi-MF.

The VMC series is aimed at machining workshops and manufacturers of large-scale dies, molds, and tools who work with high-strength materials (tool steels, castings, stainless steels) and require high structural rigidity against very high positioning speeds.
