The ESG-818CNC of EQUIPTOP is a high-precision CNC tangential grinder designed for grinding small-format parts with complex geometries. With a table surface of 460 × 203 mm and maximum load of 200 kg, the machine covers flat grinding, stepped, profiling, grooving and indexing operations with tight tolerances and high repeatability.

The spindle rotates at 3.600 rpm by motor of 5 HP / 2P , with a wheel of Ø203 × 19 × 31.75 mm. The Y axes (vertical) and Z (transverse) include ball screw of class C2 with direct drive by servo motor and minimum resolution of 0,001 mm. The total backlash is less than 2 μm. The guides of the longitudinal and transversal shafts are double V, hand-scraped and coated with Turcite-B to remove sticking in movement and ensure finish quality. The column incorporates high-rigidity box guides.

The series offers two variants: the ESG-818CNC, with the X axis driven by servo motor of 2,0 kW, and ESG-818H CNC, with hydraulic drive on the X axis (motor of 1,5 CV) that provides a particularly smooth longitudinal feed at speeds of 0 to 20 m/minThe maximum X-axis travel is 510 mm , the Z transverse axis of 260 mm , and the vertical Y axis of 390 mm.

The control system includes Integrated CAD/CAM software15" for graphical programming without code G. The operator designs the workpiece geometry and wheel directly on the screen, generates the path and runs the 3D simulation before the cycle. The system automatically calculates passes and compensates for diamond polishing during operation.

This machine is aimed at manufacturers of dies, punches, and cutting tools that incorporate CNC profile and form grinding in small-format parts with unconventional geometries, in sectors such as mold tooling and stamping, precision industry and instrumentation.
