FEELER FMH Series Horizontal Machining Center

The FMH series of FEELER is a range of horizontal machining centers composed of six models —FMH-400, FMH-500, FMH-500 Premium, FMH-630, FMH-800 and FMH-1000— designed for the machining of precision parts and molds in diversified production environments. The family covers palletized tables of 400 × 400 mm (FMH-400) a 1.000 × 1.000 mm (FMH-1000), with load capacities of 400 kg a 2.000 kg and strokes on the X axis of 610 mm a 1.300 mm.

The three linear axes incorporate a special guide construction in a high-low arrangement (carriles lineales altas/bajas), designed to support heavy loads with rigidity and sustained structural stability under demanding cutting conditions. This design is applicable both to precision mold machining and to high-volume serial production. The series incorporates a rotary-type pallet changer system with cycle times for 8 to 20 secondsthat reduces non-productive times in continuous manufacturing cycles.

The series offers spindle configurations with cone No. 40 and No. 50 according to model, with speeds of 6,000 to 12,000 rpm depending on the equipment and powers of 7.5/11 kW in compact models up to 22/26 kW in the larger ones. The automatic tool changer (ATC) supports the 40 to 60 tools in base configuration, with extensions up to 120 positions and capacity for tools up to 25 kg.
