Horizontal milling boring machine FEELER SHM-11020RF

The FEELER SHM-11020RF is a drilling and milling horizontal CNC fixed-column with spindle of Ø 110 mm and workbench 1.000 × 1.200 mm. In fixed-column architecture, the table moves along the X axis while the column remains stationary, providing a stable structural base for boring and milling operations on medium-sized parts. The travels are 2.000 mm in X, 1.600 mm in Y, 1.200 mm (option 1.400 mm) in Z and 400 mm on the W axis of the spindle. The load capacity on the table is 5 tons.

The structure is manufactured in cast iron and analyzed by FEMThe three linear axes incorporate box prism guides, that offer high rigidity under the cutting-loads characteristic of heavy boring. The X, Y and Z axes include linear optical scales as standard equipment. The rotary table is driven by a differential lead screw with a differential screw, with a minimum increment of 0,001° and hydraulic locking, which ensures the angular precision required for multi-face machining.

The spindle covers a speed range of 5 to 2,500 rpm with a continuous power of 15/18.5 kW and option of 22/26 kW... The rapid travel in X, Y and Z is 10 m/min and on the W axis of 5 m/minwith cutting speed of up to 5.000 mm/min. The ATC accepts 40 tools BT-50 —option of 60— with maximum length of 400 mm and weight of up to 35 kg per tool. The CNC control is configurable in FANUC, Mitsubishi, Siemens either Heidenhain.

The SHM-11020RF is aimed at manufacturers requiring high-precision horizontal machining of medium-sized parts, in sectors such as molds and dies, machinery, automotive e process industry, where mandrel drilling and milling with high repeatability in single-piece or small-series production is demanded.
