FEELER horizontal lathe Series FTB

The series FTB of FEELER understands lathes CNC of inclined bench available in three turning lengths: 340 mm (FTB-350), 660 mm (FTB-350L) and 1.000 mm (FTB-350XL). The three models share a maximum turning diameter of Ø400 mm, with a flight over bench Ø580 mm and on cart of Ø400 mm, located in the medium-diameter turning segment with different longitudinal travel options.

The mono-block cast iron bench MEEHANITE provides a high-rigidity structural base that minimizes vibrations during machining. The precision spindle incorporates angular contact bearings of grade P4 with integrated thermal dissipation in the head, which guarantees dimensional stability in prolonged cycles. The spindle nose is A2-6, with standard hydraulic plate of 8" (Ø210 mm). The spindle hole is Ø62 mm, expandable to Ø76 mm as option. The maximum spindle speed is 4.500 rpm with a power of 15/18.5 kW (continues/30 min).

The tool turret is equipped with 8 positions standard, expandable to 12, with tool change time of 0,3 s. The capacity of the bar is Ø52 mm and Z axes travel is from 200+25 mm and of 380 to 1,040 mm respectively according to the model, with rapid progress of 30 m/min on both axes. The positioning accuracy is 10 μm and the repeatability of 6 μm. The counterpoint is manual with hydraulic spindle of Ø70 mm, recorrido de 90 mm and cone MT-4. The standard numerical control is Fanuc 0i-TF.

The FTB series is intended for machining workshops and component manufacturers that require a medium-diameter tilting-bed CNC turning machine, available in different work lengths to adapt the machine to the dimensional variety of the parts to be manufactured.
